Learn something new everyday
Added a new tool on my utility belt yesterday: e-book publishing.
When I received a long document to read yesterday, I felt the need to transfer it to my e-Reader. What I thought would be a few minutes worth of work turned out to be something that took the entire afternoon until the evening, as I had trouble figuring out how to produce a decently made e-book in mobi format with a proper and linked table of contents.
(Turned out all I needed was amazon’s plug-in for InDesign).
I have always believed that it would never hurt to learn something new when the opportunity to do so presents itself.
And when you do learn something new, it can be rewarding which was something I felt as I finished reading the document on thee-reader.
